The Irish actor in May this year launched an Instagram fundraiser for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) ahead of the release of part two of the hit Netflix romance series.

Coughlan shot to fame for essaying the main character of Penelope Featherington in the recently released season 3 of the hit show ‘Bridgerton.’

The PCRF expressed its appreciation on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying: “Thank you to actor and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan for your incredible support of PCRF and your fundraising efforts which totalled an astonishing USD 2M in support of our Urgent Gaza Relief and Recovery efforts. 

She has consistently worn the Artists for Ceasefire pin during photoshoots and events, a symbol of her commitment to peace and justice, during her promotional activities for Bridgerton.
