Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz aims to provide free medicines in hospitals

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has called for a plan to provide free medicines in emergency government hospitals.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in which the proposal to build a central pathology lab for government hospitals was reviewed. The meeting was briefed that the revamping of major hospitals in Punjab will be completed by June.

The Chief Minister also sought for a list of vacant, abandoned and closed hospital buildings across Punjab.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz asked for suggestions to improve the pathology lab system.
