Dust storm hit the Victoria code red warring

A dust storm has hit northwest Victoria, convert the sky orange, as strong winds kick up in Code Red fire conditions.

Power cor, a service provider, had extra crews working on Thursday to tackle around 5400 power outages, with most due to winds across the state’s west.

The expected tocool down in Melbourne around 3pm to 4pm on Thursday.
