Indian actress Pooja Batra has tied the knot with fellow actor Nawab Shah.
Batra has appeared in many Bollywood hits, including Viraasat, Haseena Maan Jayegi, and Nayak and her husband Nawab Shah, played the major negative roles in many films, including Don 2 and Tiger Zinda Hai.
During an interview with an Indian newspaper, Pooja Batra answers that the wedding ceremony was performed in Delhi on 4 July. The ceremony was attended by their families and close friends She adds that their marriage will be registered this week.
The couple had announced their relationship on Instagram. Nawab shared a picture and wrote, “It took 46 years for my soul to be ready and then my mate appeared. Eid Mubarak, soulmate.”
Speaking on their relationship in an interview with Bombay Times, Pooja had said, “I knew of Nawab by being in the same profession. However, we strongly connected after we were reintroduced by a common friend in February this year. I guess we reconnected at the right time in our life. We were in the same space emotionally and hit it off instantly. I have always respected and liked Nawab, and this time around, I was open to the idea of getting to know him better. Apart of me wanted to see if there could be something beyond friendship between us. We share emotional and intellectual compatibility, and we don’t have to explain too much to each other. I like the fact that he is a family person.”
