Late Amir Liaquat’s ex-wife Syeda Bushra files case against Dania Shah

Syeda Bushra Iqbal, the first and ex-wife of late Aamir Liaquat Hussain, on Friday announced via Twitter, that she will be filing a case against Hussain’s third wife, Dania Shah, with the cybercrime wing.

Earlier, the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday supported the request of Dania Shah, the third wife of deceased Amir Liaquat, to be made a party in the case regarding his autopsy and ordered the relevant parties to prepare for it. Shah, who filed for divorce shortly before Aamir Liaquat’s death, requested the high court to conduct his post-mortem in front of the SHC bench comprising Justice Mohammad Iqbal Kalhoro and Justice Kausar Sultana Hussain.

During the hearing, Dania Shah’s mother came to the podium and said that Aamir Liaquat’s wife had the right to know the cause of death. “My daughter Dania was Aamir Liaquat’s wife. Aamir Liaquat Hussain was such a wonderful person, the cause of death should be known,” she stated before the court.

Last month, Amir Liaquat Hussain was found dead in his house in Karachi. Hussain. Dr. Amir Liaqaut was rushed to a hospital where he could not be revived and was pronounced dead.
