Mohlat’s story follows the life of Nawera, an innocent girl who is blamed for her mother’s misfortune because she is expecting a boy instead of her, so her father marries another woman and things break down for his family.

Her elder sister Kinza Hasmi’s character Maham is a cheater who uses Sami Khan (Dawar) for nefarious purposes, even against his mother. However, Dawar does not notice Maham’s mind games because he loves them madly. Novera, a vulnerable, innocent, and unhappy daughter who has been neglected and abandoned since birth, was adopted by Komal Aziz Khan, exposing Maham’s cruelty and deception.

The drama is written by Samira Fazal who has written blockbuster drama serials such as Mann Mayal, Vasal, Noor Pur Ki Rani, Mera Saaein and Badi Aapa. She has also received Lux Style Award for Best TV Writer 2012. Now we have to see that this drama also receives the same appreciation as the writer’s previous drama received.

According to the drama cast, this is a different type of drama, when you won’t just see women being oppressed. On the contrary, men are being manipulated. So, it is something out of the ordinary.
