The K-pop star, who was the victim of online bullying, had severe depression, polices said
The Korean pop singer and actor was found dead by her manager on 14th October at her residence near Seoul, South Korea.
Police said, the late K-pop star Sulli had been experiencing severe depression. “It seems that she took her own life but we are also looking into other possibilities.”
Sulli was a member of the popular K-pop girl group f(x), launched by SM Entertainment in 2009, which achieved domestic and some international success.
She left the group in 2015 to concentrate on acting before returning to the music scene as a solo artist, releasing a single, “Goblin,” in June 2019.
Sulli was a child actor before making her singing debut with the girl group f(x) in 2009.
Most recently, she appeared on a television program in which K-pop stars discussed their experiences with malevolent online comments.
