Hamza Ali Abbasi and Naimal Khawar tied the knot in a private ceremony on August 25. The nikkah ceremony, held in Islamabad, was followed by close friends and relatives.

Naimal Khawar showed up to the ceremony oozing traditional vibes and we couldn’t get enough of her look. As we mention earlier Naimal Khawar desired to re-use her mother’s bridal dress with a few changes and absolutely looking like a timeless bride, oozing old-time beauty.

Recently, Naimal took to Instagram and explained why she goes for a simple look on her wedding day.

“The moment I realized I’m getting married, I knew I wanted to wear my Amma’s nikkah Jora. I have always been drawn to old-world charm and the nazakat of bridal jora from back in the day. There is also a special emotional attachment that comes with wearing your mother’s jora,” Naimal stated.

Matching the fabulous factor with some beautiful adjustments, designer Maheen Shah added a gold kamdaani kameez, with gota and salma work on the sleeves and neckline. Naimal Khawar further added, “Maheen Shah helped me alter it exactly the way I wanted it, maintaining its delicacy and purity but also creating something that looks good on me. Having worn it, I can say it was easily the best decision I made.”

Naima Khawar disclosed that she did her makeup herself, reflecting fresh and luminous skin with pink cheeks and nearly bare eyes.

“I also did my own hair and makeup because I wanted to keep it simple and minimal, “Your wedding day is supposed to be a happy day that you can truly enjoy. It’s okay if you don’t want to wear the heaviest jewelry and would rather keep it a little light.” Naimal Khawar stated.
