Mehwish Hayat is a famous, and impressive actress, She recently made her come back to television with the Geo TV drama series Dayan. Unfortunately, her drama failed to hold the audience and became the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons.

Pakistani audiences continue showing dislike toward dramas and the old repeated drama stories with wrong age casting. This Drama serial has many faults and unreasonable shots and scenes.

Mehwish Hayat: The character of Nihal/Misha, a university-going girl who comes from a strict household, and is unable to complete any sentence without hiccups, but out of nowhere she is portrayed as a confident girl in the university and her look is more like a villager girl than a lower-class city girl. Casting Mehwish Hayat as a college-going girl with no confidence was a most significant error. Mehwish Hayat has a strong and confident personality which is not gelled with her character Nihal.

Ahsan Khan: He is playing the Zawar Shah, a mighty businessman with political powers, again a typical rich guy who blindly trusts his sisters. and anything can do for his wife Shabab. Ahsan’s acting is so good but his wardrobe and the shawl were a bit too much and looked duplicated by the previous Geo Hero’s dressing. Ahsan is the only reason to watch this show.

Hira Mani: Shabab is such an unreal and over character, She always wears sarees, delivers unsensible dialogues and insults her sisters-in-law and vice versa. Her overdue phrases and her character’s storyline are completely unrelatable in today’s time. She is shown in grief at the loss of her brother-in-law ( Hunain) who was like a son to her, but there are no actual scenes between Shabab and Hunain. From her character’s wardrobe to acting everything is unbearable.

The mismatched casting of characters, their unreal dressings, Overly heavy dialogues, the same old story plot, and unrealistic situations, are the reasons that make this drama a flop project.
