Anila Ali sets Social media on fire after Pakistani-American addressed a pro-Israel rally in Washington!
A video clip went viral on social media showing Anila Ali addressing the pro-Israel rally in Washington on November 14.
Anila Ali, a Pakistani-American Muslim and women’s rights activist said, “I stand before you as a Muslim American, Pakistani, friend of the Jewish people.”
“I am here to affirm to my Abrahamic brothers and sisters that you are not alone,” said Ali.
Explaining that Islam prohibits all the horrific acts Hamas committed on October 7, she said “The war to destroy the Jews and the Jewish homeland must end once and for all.”
Who is Anila Ali?
As per her website, Anila Ali a native of Pakistan, is a retired California public school teacher, Muslim philanthropist, author, and women’s rights advocate.
In a move that further fueled discontent, Anila Ali was part of a delegation that visited Israel in early May 2022.
The delegation, consisting mainly of Pakistani Americans, travelled on U.S. passports but retained strong ties to their home country.
The visit was organized by an American Muslim women’s activist group and sponsored by an Israeli organization seeking to strengthen ties with Muslim-majority nations.
