Mannat is a beautiful girl, who comes from a progressive household that values love, care, freedom and mutual respect. Grown in an atmosphere where everyone’s choices are respected, Mannat enjoys the freedom to make her own decisions. Following the untimely demise of her parents, she finds support from her elder brother, Nafees, who raised her like her own daughter and is very protective towards Mannat.

Murad belongs to a conservative family where his mother controls everything and has significant influence over Murad’s life choices. Murad has four sisters and as the only son, Murad is burdened with fulfilling his family’s expectations. Soft-spoken and romantic by nature, Murad finds himself unable to defy his mother’s authority, especially after the passing of his father.

Despite all the differences between their families and lifestyles, Mannat and Murad’s hearts find comfort in each other’s presence and fall in love. However, their families’ interference creates misunderstandings between Mannat and Murad, testing the strength of their bond.

Review:

Well, this drama is a breath of air, the story of the drama has a unique but very much close-to-reality touch. There is a huge amount of audience who relate to Murad’s character or know someone like him. Mannat is a soft-hearted and cheerful girl. Although Maurad’s mother gets mixed reviews some people find her character annoying and some people think that is a perfect picture of a controlling mother.

Well till now I’m enjoying watching Maanta Murad, As I want to know more about Murad and his family’s background, and how Mannat and Murad will fall in love.
