Ehsaan Faramosh is a story about a woman Falak who is greedy and jealous by nature and how her jealousy of every person in her life destroys and damages others’ lives. Falak is a self-obsessive and manipulative person who can’t see anyone happy. You will see Falak planning and plotting all the time, as she has nothing else to do, she can yell at anyone any time, and no one can stop her. Falak is not the only problematic character in the drama, Falak’s older sister Naval lost and is not interested behaviour in everything and has a controlling fiance who keeps giving her, and on top of that Falak’s mother has no control over her younger daughter (adopted). There is nothing good to watch in this drama. This drama is all about lies, conspiracies, and pulling each other down.

The female protagonist, Mubashira Jaffer has an egomaniacal personality, she is pampered by her father. Mubashra’s narcissistic manners towards every person are commendable.

She is overpowered by her father as he covers her all wrong actions by using his power and money. Mubashara is spoiled and desperately in need of discipline. This is not the first time we have seen this type of character. what is the point of showcasing the same character in every drama? She is not the only problematic person in this drama, her so-called husband uses Mubashra’s egoist behaviour as an excuse to cheat on her with Mubashira’s best friend. And salute her best friend who still thinks what she did with Mubashira is right. I mean what they are trying to show? This drama is a mixture of many dramas we have seen in the past.

The story moves around Alizy who wants to spend her life according to her wish and Sharry the male lead is shown a big-time red flag, again very credible, a Man who is by nature angry, narrow-minded and controlling and has a toxic elder sister Natasha. Very typical and regressive drama, forcefully showing a man in a bad light and showcasing a woman is all about marriage. Poor casting and no chemistry between the characters. The most annoying character of this drama is Natasha the Behen. And the only Character who look nice in the drama is Sir Javad Shakih. I think we need to make more dramas to show men in a good light so our society can learn something good.

Using toxic stories just to increase television ratings in a careless and wicked manner is wrong. These big Channels and Producers need to take accountability for the content they showcase to the audience. Because their content motivated many people. They need to understand their social and moral responsiblities .
