The popular twin celebrity sisters have recently launched a summer collection for their fashion brand Aiman Minal Closet. Social media has been rife with claims lately that Aiman and Minal have divested famous designer Zara Shahjahan’s exclusive collection.
Minaal had worn the same designer dress at her Baat Pakki ceremony. A Red Floral Co-Ord with an organza dupatta from the popular brand and the similarities to her own creation is quite obvious.
A local fashion page on Instagram highlighted the issue by posting a picture of the two outfits with a caption saying, “Spot the difference zarashahjahan now available at aimanminalcloset.”
Netizens have been calling out celebrity twins Aiman Khan and Minal Khan for blatantly plagiarizing Zara Shahjahan’s designs in their recent collection.
Not just that one more Comparisons were also drawn when Minal shared a picture of herself in a yellow printed shirt with an organza dupatta – a design similar to Zara Shahjahan’s Eid Edit II, released during the 2021 Eid-ul-Fitr season.
Many people have been calling the sisters’ designs a “cheap” copy of the ZS pieces. The retail prices of Zara Shahjahan’s outfits are PKR 14,000-PKR 16,000, while the dresses from Aiman Minal Closet have been priced at PKR 7,999.
