Pakistani Veteran Actor Abdi Ali at the age of 67 breathed his last at a private hospital where he was admitted three days ago. Abdi Ali ranked one of Pakistan’s finest television stars.

Abid Ali was Born and educated in Quetta, Abid Ali was attracted to the arts from an early age, writing stories and painting in his childhood and teenage years, and first joined Radio Pakistan before going to Lahore after some effort Abid Ali begins his flourishing TV career with PTV’s drama serial Jhok Sial in 1973. 

Government of Pakistan awarded him ‘Pride of Performance’ in 1985.

Abid Ali worked in several Pakistan Television (PTV) plays then, making a name for himself as an actor par perfection.

He started as a director and producer with the 1993-hit drama Dasht, plus the first private production for Pakistan.

while the same year, for PTV this time, he directed TV drama Doosra Aasman, that was first TV drama shot abroad and telecast on PTV.

Abid Ali was also known for his magnificent performance in ARY Digital’s Tootay Huay Taaray adjoining Noman Ijaz.

His sudden departure is a huge shock for the Pakistani audience and a great loss of Pakistani TV industry.

He will always remember for his transcendent work for Pakistani entertainment Industry.
