Chicken Biryani


  • Boiled rice ½ kg
  • Chicken ½ kg
  • Plums 50g
  • Yogurt 375g
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Mint ½ bunch
  • Coriander ½ bunch
  • Green chilies 4
  • Lemons 1
  • Mix all spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Star anise 4
  • Yellow color ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander 2 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Onions 2-3
  • oil as required
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp


  1. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté onion.Now put chicken in a bowl and cook it properly.
  2. Then add ginger garlic paste, yogurt, plums, mix whole spice, star anise, all spice powder, turmeric, red chili powder, salt and chopped coriander and cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
  3. Now  add tomato slices, coriander, mint and green chilies and stir for 5 minutes.
  4. Add boiled rice and yellow food color and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Enjoy your chicken biryani with yogurt and salad.
